Congratulations, you have completed your online training and officially waiting to be matched with a small business.
In this page you will find all relevant support material in your journey as volunteer bridgebuilder.
At Finklusiv, we work with people who use entrepreneurship as a pathway out of vulnerability. We support them in gaining access to a business bank account and the tools that can strengthen their chances of succeeding with their business.
Many of them lack the time, knowledge, or support to increase their online visibility. This is where you, as a digital bridgebuilder, step in.

Quick tips for you
- Don’t waste any time once you have been matched with a company, contact them immediately to arrange the first meeting! With every passing week momentum gets lost, and your priorities are more likely to change. We encourage that the work starts immediately and 2 / 3 hours are dedicated to the tasks over the first 4 to 6 weeks.
- Bring the support materials under At your first meeting with you when you meet with the business owner. This helps you structure the meeting, ask the right questions, and make sure you don’t forget anything.
- Remember to agree on a clear timeframe for your volunteering and set an end date. This helps create shared expectations and gives both you and the business owner a clear overview of how the collaboration will work. A realistic timeframe and clear priorities are important to achieve your goals. We usually suggest a maximum of 6 weeks. If you wish to continue supporting the business owner after the programme goals are completed, you are of course welcome to do so.
- Don’t forget that the team at Finklusiv is always available to support you. If you are in doubt about anything or need sparring, reach out.
- It is a good idea to quantify the impact of your work for your CV. This helps future employers understand what you have achieved during your time as a digital bridgebuilder.
