At Finklusiv, we work with people who use entrepreneurship as a pathway out of vulnerability. We support them in gaining access to a business bank account and the tools that can strengthen their chances of succeeding with their business.
Many of them lack the time, knowledge, or support to increase their online visibility, and this is where you, as a digital bridgebuilder, step in.
How Does It Work?
As a volunteer digital bridge builder, we match you 1:1 with a small business, often run by an entrepreneur with a refugee or migrant background. Your efforts make a direct difference: you help them be found online and reach more customers.
Through a short interactive online course, you will learn:
Collaboration
Collaborating with a business owner with a different background than yourself.
Cultivating Connections
Active listening and intercultural understanding.
Digitools
Concrete tools for Google Business/Maps, Trustpilot, SoMe and simple website development.

What will you do?
As a volunteer digital bridgebuilder, you will help small business owners with their digital presence.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to be an expert.
We work with web developers at HackYourFuture, they will take care of the technical part.
You will communicate with the business owner on their expectations and together develop a reasonable digital presence strategy.
You start with small things, from creating a google business account, to social media profiles and a website.
You will learn a lot about digital marketing and project work.
Why does this project matter?
This project aims to support both business owners and young volunteers.
Through your work, you gain valuable hands-on experience in digital tools, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, strengthening your professional profile and preparing you for a competitive job market.
At the same time, your contribution plays a meaningful role in supporting small business owners in overcoming structural barriers. By assisting them in strengthening and growing their businesses, you help demonstrate that small enterprises are essential and dynamic contributors to the Danish economy.
Mindset
Being a digital bridgebuilder is not just about helping, but about how you help. A good mindset is based on curiosity, patience, and respect. Active listening to the owner’s needs, a calm tone and respectful communication between you and the business owner will help you make the most of this experience.
Remember, this program is not about you solving the business owner's problems, but supporting them in finding their own solutions.
